Pop-Up and Launch Venue Near London Bridge: Planning an Event at Pages Walk

Looking for a pop-up or launch venue near London Bridge that doesn’t feel like a hotel function room? Pages Walk is a 9,000 sq ft former industrial laundrette in Bermondsey, around 10 minutes’ walk from London Bridge, with raw warehouse interiors, drive-in access and the power and space to build almost anything.

This guide covers what the space offers for pop-up shops, brand launches, experiential activations, markets, screenings and private events, and what to plan before you book.

The Space at a Glance

  • 9,000 sq ft across two connected warehouse units, 29 and 31

  • Up to 250 standing or 150 seated

  • Drive-in access through Unit 29 for vehicles, staging and large builds

  • 3-phase power: 2 × 32A 3-phase supplies, with distros down to 16A and 13A

  • Parking: 4–5 spaces in the courtyard and 4–5 at the front, with 7 more available at extra cost

  • Back of house for hair and make-up, a green room and a pop-up kitchenette

  • Around 10 minutes’ walk from London Bridge station

Why an Industrial Space Works for Pop-Ups and Launches

A blank white room asks you to build an atmosphere from scratch. Pages Walk already has one: exposed brick, worn textures and the original character of a working laundrette. That gives brands a backdrop that photographs well and feels like a discovery, which matters when the event is meant to travel on social media.

Because the two units connect, you can split a launch into zones: an arrival and press area in one unit, the main reveal or activation in the other, with back of house hidden away for staff, talent and catering.

What You Can Run Here

  • Pop-up shops and sample sales: drive-in access makes stock and fixture load-in quick, and the open floor takes rails, plinths and counters.

  • Product and brand launches: room for a staged reveal, a press area and a hospitality space in the same building.

  • Experiential activations: 3-phase power supports lighting rigs, screens and builds that need more than a standard socket.

  • Markets and cultural showcases: two connected units give you circulation space for stalls and visitors.

  • Screenings, talks and dinners: seated layouts for up to 150 guests.

Planning Checklist

  1. Confirm your headcount and layout early. Standing and seated capacities differ, and staging or builds reduce both.

  2. Plan load-in by vehicle. Book the drive-in slot and parking for suppliers; spaces at the front are reduced when vans are on site.

  3. Share your power plan. Tell the team what lighting, AV and catering equipment you need so the distros can be set up for it.

  4. Decide on daylight or blackout. Options vary by unit and need confirming before you hire.

  5. Use back of house. Brief caterers, talent and staff on where the green room and kitchenette are.

  6. Allow time for build and de-rig. Large activations often need a build day before the event.
