Industrial Filming Locations in London: What to Look For

London has plenty of white studios. What’s harder to find is an industrial filming location that still feels real on camera, is easy to reach for crew, and has the power and access a production needs. Here is what to look for, and how Pages Walk in Bermondsey fits.

What Makes a Good Industrial Location

  • Authentic texture. Original brick, steel and wear that a set builder would struggle to fake.

  • Scale. Enough floor for camera moves, lighting and a working crew, not just a backdrop.

  • Access. Vehicle access for kit, props and set builds.

  • Power. 3-phase supply, so you aren’t relying on a generator.

  • Back of house. Somewhere for talent, hair and make-up, and clients away from set.

  • Location. Central enough for crew call times, outside the worst of the traffic.
