Automotive Filming Venue in London: Drive-In Car Shoots at Pages Walk

Car shoots need things most London venues can’t offer: a door a vehicle can drive through, enough floor to light and turn it, power for a serious lighting package, and somewhere to park the crew. Pages Walk in Bermondsey, around 10 minutes from London Bridge, has all four.

Two Ways to Shoot a Vehicle at Pages Walk

1. The industrial location. Pages Walk is a 9,000 sq ft former industrial laundrette across two connected units. Unit 29 has drive-in access, so a car can be driven straight onto a raw warehouse set with exposed brick and worn textures. It suits editorial, music videos and campaigns that want grit rather than a clean backdrop.

2. The studio. SE1 Studios, bookable through Pages Walk, has a drive-in infinity cove for clean product shots, reveals and commercials where the vehicle is the hero.

What an Automotive Shoot Needs, and What You Get Here

  • Drive-in access through Unit 29 at the location, and a drive-in cove at the studio

  • 3-phase power: 2 × 32A 3-phase supplies at the location, with distros and breakdowns to 13A

  • Parking for 8–10 vehicles on site, plus 7 more spaces at extra cost, for tracking vehicles, kit vans and crew

  • Daylight or blackout options (confirm per unit before you book)

  • Back of house for talent, hair and make-up, and client holding

  • Outside the Congestion Charge zone, but 10 minutes from London Bridge

Before You Book: An Automotive Checklist

  1. Send us the vehicle’s dimensions so we can confirm it clears the drive-in door and turning space.

  2. Plan the vehicle path from the street to set, including any low-loader drop-off.

  3. Agree fuel and battery rules for running engines or EVs indoors.

  4. Share your lighting plan so the power distros are set up before your call time.

  5. Book parking early for the hero car, tracking vehicle and kit vans.

  6. Protect the floor with mats or boards where the car will sit and turn.
